I started seeing this client 2 months out after a full knee replacement. Her AROM and PROM were quite limited due to the scarring and pain (pretty typical). With the use of both massage and KinesioTaping used for pain and scar manipulation both ROM’s were able to increase noticeably but the main result was a […]
A fall led to a full tear of the posterior fascia of the knee. The pain was intense and this client was barely able to walk. Using the lymphatic strips helped reduce his swelling and changed the blood quality (as is clearly seen) but using the space correction helped reduce his pain enough to walk-even with a […]
The doctors had me use KinesioTape for lymphatic drainage post operatively on this client before she had even left the hospital. We applied the lymphatic strips every 7 days and each time the client expressed significant changes in her pain levels.
After both a labral tear and Ganz surgery this patient had increasing nerve damage and pain. Her symptoms had been steadily increasing over the course of 3 months post rehab. I began using EDF taping over her area of numbness with a drastic change in sensitivity (decrease).
Helping reduce gluteus medius tension that was causing low back pain. Using inhibition is often one of the most effective applications I use.
Pretty traditional star space corrective technique that we teach in the courses. Directly over the point of pain with wonderful results.
I was using EDF treatment for the nerve pain from a bulged disk that was causing sciatic pain and calf cramping. This application was able to help reduce both her numbness and cramping.
This was an alternate shin splint treatment I began using with great results. The over lapping tails are directly over the points of pain.
Fascial correction pulling the tibial tissue laterally (Black) and a muscle inhibition of the tibialis anterior.
For this KinesioTaping application I was not able to tape for the pain-a concept we encourage our students to always do- ‘Tape for the pain and the cause of the pain’ as her pain was a bone issue. I was not using one of the corrective techniques that we teach in the courses but focusing solely […]
